‘In Good Spirits’ – auditions

A dark and stormy night in a creepy old house – is that howling noise really just the wind?

In Good Spirits, by local playwright Paul Vander Loos, was originally premiered in 2009 as a radio play in Kucom Theatre’s ‘Triple Treat’ season of one-act plays,  and is now being made into a short film – right here in Mackay!

Cast required:
• 3 males and 2 females, aged 20s
• 1 male and 1 female, aged 50s-70s

If you don’t want to be an actor, but would like to get some experience as a crew member working behind the scenes, please message Joel Aprilè or Paul Vander Loos on Facebook and let them know you’re interested.

Update

Of the seven characters in the film script In Good Spirits, we’ve been able to cast five so far, but we’re still looking for 2 males in their 20s.

This is going to be the very first venture of the new Mackay Film Unit, so we’re all pretty excited about it.

For information about the auditions, and to request a copy of the script, please message Paul Vander Loos on Facebook.
